Aidan's day started out well. He went down for a nap at 10am so he would be rested up for the festivities. Daddy did a fantastic job cleaning up the house and getting our loft ready for our guests. Thank you also to Nana and Don and Grandma and Grandpa for helping us with the finishing touches!
Aidan woke up and walked into the loft where there were tons of people and tons of food. We had wonderful appetizers courtesy of Karen. I fully plan to finish off that wonderful dip ALL BY MYSELF. We also had great Dreamland BBQ, potato salad, cole slaw, and baked beans. Oh and cake.
Aidan got so many fantastic presents. It was like he raided a toy store. He got so many cute clothes.
Aidan ate half his own cake...LITERALLY. He took one swipe and then just dug in like he never ate before. This was AFTER he had eaten a very big lunch. His little belly was so big when he was done. Of course he got it all over him (with special help from Jessica who wrote "A" on his forehead in icing). We had to give him a bath before he was able to rejoin the festivities.
He went down for a very hard nap, but woke up in a great mood and is loving all his toys.
