Everything is going well here. We had a fabulous Halloween, albeit low key. We had Aidan dressed up in a puppy outfit that morning, but he spit (threw)-up on it after about 10 minutes. So, he wore his "My 1st Halloween" onesie that Grandpa bought for him. We only had one trick-or-treater. It was a little guy dressed up as Batman. I gave him a large handfull of candy and he said (no joke), "That's it?" Turns out I probably should have dumped the whole bowl in his bag, but I didn't realize he was "it" for our house.

The message above was Aidan's first time at the keyboard. He wanted to tell you that he has FINALLY mastered the art of rolling over!! He can only roll over to the right from his back to his stomach, but by golly he's got it!
Aidan also walked his first 5K. We did the William's Run last Saturday. He shared a race number with his dad, which was firmly affixed to his baby bjorn carrier. The race was to benefit the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation, which is obviously close to our hearts. The only trouble was we didn't have gloves for Aidan, so he got to wear mine.
The weekend after Aidan's adoption was finalized we met Aidan's birthsiblings, visited with his aunt and his birthmother. It was a GREAT visit! There were lots of fun moments. The most amazing of which was when we heard Aidan's sister laugh and saw her smile. It was the same laugh and smile as Aidan. A truly wonderful experience!!!
Here are some pictures of the rest of Aidan's Adoption weekend. We went to see The Wizard of Oz in the park near our house.
Aidan is a daily joy. We're so lucky.
Much Love,
~The Newtons
